Registration Process
Step 1: Begin the Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Source-of-Funds (SOF) assessment process.
Step 2: Wrap up the requisite agreement formalities.
Step 3: Kickstart the company formation process as a Private Limited Company (LTD or OÜ in Estonian), a process that can be completed in as little as 48 hours.
Step 4: Conduct the share transfer of the company through a notarized Power of Attorney (POA). Due to the prevailing COVID-19 situation, remote transfers are facilitated, hence no need for a physical visit.
Step 5: Once the transfer is complete, proceed with establishing a bank or PSP account in an EEA country that offers services in Estonia, or with a provider that has a branch in Estonia.
Step 6: Register share capital - set at €100,000 for exchange operations and €250,000 for wallet services.
Step 7: Set up an operational office in Tallinn.
