A statement named “Encryption Trends in Mexico 2020/2021” examined a total of 353 representatives from organizations everywhere in Mexico.
The research which was issued by the privacy research center the Ponemon Institute showed that 40% of the Mexican firms surveyed were seeing to use blockchain and cryptocurrencies in any form. Outside of this part, 71% were concentrated especially on crypto usage.
The numbers also revealed that 51% of these firms were determined on achieving blockchain for asset control and transaction handling goals, while 37% showed an interest in the implementation of smart agreements. The research told that many of these organizations could eventually use blockchain to help their security systems to improve and ensure proper encryption methods.
Even though Mexico is not usually seen as a primary blockchain player worldwide, the country has performed an effective and ongoing role in terms of using blockchain.
Mexico stated intentions to allow a blockchain-based electronic voting system for some residents residing abroad in September. The province intends to make this ready in time for its 2021 election period.
Mexican businesses had raised more than $1.3 billion in the fintech area which was reported in August. Some of these funds went to blockchain technology progress within the country.
