Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Edapaddi K. Palaniswami published Tamil Nadu's choice of an ethical blockchain policy, according to The New Indian Express.
Palaniswami told that Tamil Nadu plans to start a project to give Knowledge Proof Identity-based services delivery, which will change the way the government provides its services to citizens, according to the minister.
The plan will be implemented by building and leveraging the State Family Database (SFDB) and Blockchain Backbone infrastructure.
The blockchain infrastructure functions as a unique source of truth for all government data and methods. It might also be used to reimagine governance and support blockchain use in the country.
By starting the Blockchain Backbone infrastructure, the country also accepts the need to build a forum to market collaboration between industry, start-ups, and academia to create an ecosystem.
Tamil Nadu's state has also reportedly embraced an ethical artificial intelligence policy that intends to take benefit of the advantages of AI while maintaining it secure and ethically compatible with human conditions.
It also approved a policy similar to cybersecurity to defend data and combat cybercrimes.
