Ethereum Hits All-Time High- $1,475
The value of ether raised up to $1,475 on Sunday. Ether is the original cryptocurrency of the Ethereum blockchain network.
Price popped exactly $1,475,66 – beating the earlier all-time high of $1,439.33 set just last week – before falling back to $1,447.77, up more than 17% in the last 24 hours.
When ETH (+5.72%) has traced its larger cryptocurrency sibling, bitcoin (BTC, +1.29%), in its mission to new lifetime records, it has outrun the top cryptocurrency on a year-to-date basis with an 88% rise. BTC has climbed up to 10.98% so far this year.
Alex Saunders who is a cryptocurrency investor told that “most agree” about Ethereum’s features as a blue-chip asset. He told:
“2 year ago $ETH fell 90% in 9 months & hit $80. Most had written it off. Yet here we are at new ATH $1500, it's network effects are undeniable & most agree it's blue chip. Love it.”
