Craig Bergman, Ex Political Director of Ron Paul Builds New Blockchain Company
From his 'Silicon Prairie' in Des Moines, Iowa, the Ex political director for the Ron Paul 2008 Presidential Campaign, Craig Bergman now operates an Organization named Vortex Blockchain Technologies Inc. (Vortex) as CEO and President. In a phone discussion, Bergman explains how he is merely mining bitcoin and other cryptos while he gets up on filings with the SEC.
According to an SEC filing report, "Vortex Blockchain Technologies, Inc was organized on 14 February 2013, in the State of Nevada as UA Granite Corporation, and a reverse merger with Vortex Network, LLC was completed on 17 October 2018." Currently enrolled as VXBT, 75,500,000 shares are outstanding - all of which are yet privately owned.
The new SEC 10-Q Report for the quarter ending Sept. 2019 states, "...the Organization is involved in software and hardware construction, bitcoin mining, cybersecurity, fintech, and Artificial Intelligence, has been revealed a successful concern view, and relies primarily upon the selling of our securities and loans of its CEO and directors to fund works." Bergman said his expectation that his company's securities will begin trading publicly in August.
Almost as impressive as the transactions performed in operating out his blockchain firm to the public is Bergman himself. Of his days going on the College Republicans for Jack Kemp, he immediately got himself within Austrian economic theorists and gold standard champions. Bergman also has a charitable foundation called 'Patriots for Christ' that educates Americans to support their civic duty based on Theology. Eventually, by his work as a movie producer of the documentary' Unfair: Exposing The IRS', Craig Bergman keeps himself occupied.
His leadership for Vortex Blockchain Solutions, Inc., his strength is high, and a variety of interests in the crypto and blockchain space is related to his other efforts. While acknowledging he had initially been dismissed Bitcoin as 'Magic Internet Money,' he presently considers Bitcoin and its pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto as excellent at business, but poor at math. "Every year, I would start halving and begin with a giant pool. BTC can't make it another 100 years as it is not high enough to take the 100 Trillion dollar world market," states Bergman.
As Bergman regrets, he cashed out early enough to put in new marble countertops in his kitchen in his other experience with Bitcoin, but did not 'HODL' or hold on for dear life. Everywhere in the crypto community express their intention with not trading BTC no matter what happens, based on their long-term positions in the technology. Yet, according to Bergman, BTC has a short time before the currency no longer can control the world economy's capacity that he thinks a new 'Future coin' will be capable of doing. "Cardano is resembling, but it's like viewing Shawshank Redemption where Charles Hoskinson is scratch away at a barrier behind a Marilyn Monroe banner. Will he eventually breakthrough? Apparently, but it will take 20 years."
According to Bergman, the 'Future Coin' will change everything immediately, like Thanos snapping his fingers in Avengers. He explains the future as evidence of stake, evidence of trust blockchain protocol that will be developed 'out in the wild' as a 'zero-day' coin that will become the next BTC, only much better. Bergman thinks Cardano went back - but not far back enough. He expects the same aspect will happen that did with Bitcoin, where there is no 'pre-mining.' Like Satoshi Nakamoto and Finney began with their transactions, the new 'Future Coin' will need to feel its genesis time.
Concerning blockchain, Bergman has been associated with distributed systems for years. He began a Vortex Network company concentrated on distributed network systems in 2010-2011, like Napster. Bergman claims that after then, current centralized platforms would ultimately be doomed to fail. Before George Gilder's novel 'Life After Google GOOGL,' giving away your product and using others as the content author, he dramatically examines a kind of socialism.
Bergman referenced organizations such as Sears, Montgomery Ward, and Radio Shack, that had unbelievable market valuations; but, they are no longer with us.
Bergman predicts the future decade as a different iteration of a decentralized base - where AOL was. "AOL was downloaded from a disk and operated on your local device. You could improve the interface with AOL and use it nearby with friends. You can not do that with modern Web 2.0 technology - you're on their server".
For current values, Vortex relies on mining. "If somebody thinks BTC and mining are valuable, we do like everyone else," stated Bergman. "But, unlike Riot and Hive, we have not owed $150 million; we have no debt."
Presidential Candidate Ron Paul
As political director for Ron Paul, Bergman writes Ron Paul is three ages older than him. Bergman states he talked him toward running in 2007 later he had first helped him for President against George H.W. Bush in 1988 when Jack Kemp did not win. In terms of how the Fed serves today and how the cryptocurrency community embraces Paul's views, Bergman judgments, "The Founding Fathers could not artificially change the money supply without putting effort into it. Politically, economically, and socially it is the truth. Publishing money makes money wasted".
Bergman announces that when the Fed prints, "...2 trillion dollars out of light air, there is no silver or gold mined, no electric used, no projects were given, and no infrastructure developed. All the print does is cause the price of goods to go up to about the currency's value just printed."
Bergman is producing a voting system and software for the future with a name brand that people connect with and trust, and American publicly-traded company. He believes his company will be trading by August or September. His mining cryptocurrency activity is just the start of his vision into the future of blockchain technology outside of finance. Craig Bergman will be capable of fitting right into any cryptocurrency conference from blockchain-enabled voting programs to A.I. to seeing ahead to Web 3.0.
To the extent that he was the Ex political director for Ron Paul will win Bergman praise sufficient; but, should he go too far back to Ronald Reagan and Jack Kemp, he may receive some blank stares from the millennials. Though, he should also relate entirely to the baby boomer crowd, a challenging but maybe untapped market for the growth and acceptance of cryptocurrency.
