A new blockchain-based solution for Indian government school
Indian IT Minister is very much eager to improve the quality of government schools, on that way Prasad has reached out National Informatics Center(NIC). Prasad has requested NIC to find any blockchain-based solution by using blockchain-based technology to improve the quality of government schools.
“I am very keen on how we can leverage blockchain in primary education. In fact, today I am going to give you a task, NIC team. Can you think of a good application of blockchain technology for improving the quality of government schools all over the country? Public schools are good, Private schools are good but my take would be that we shall be able to leverage technology when a transformational change takes place,” Ravi Shankar Prasad said. This statement was made by Ravi Shankar Prasad during the inauguration of the center of excellence(COE) by NIC in Bengaluru. The minister Prasad is looking forward to including new start-ups in this initiative and requested NIC to Develop such a mechanism with which new start-up can become part of it. Ravi Shankar Prasad said,” India is home to close 26,000 startups, of which 9000 are tech startups.NIC can become a big patron of the startup movement”. Ravi Shankar Prasad emphasized the scope of blockchain technology in all sectors. The NIC recognized the importance of blockchain technology in the government. Its COE on the blockchain will help the government to develop pics for the usage of technology in a different dimension of governance. Meanwhile, the supreme court has delayed the hearing against the RBI after the ban of crypto banking in India. The court has not yet adjourned the matter. The Supreme Court is willing to hear the matter again, which is a very good sign. The public has submitted so many appeals in the court against this ban.they are asking to reconsider it because they deemed that its unconstitutional.
