Process of Estonia Crypto License Register
Step 1: Perform Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Source-of-Funds (SOF) Checks
Step 2: Sign the Contract
Step 3: Register the Company as a Private Limited Company (LTD or OÜ in Estonian) - Can be completed within 48 hours
Step 4: Transfer Company Shares at the Notary using Power of Attorney (POA) - Remote transfers are allowed due to COVID-19, no physical visit required
Step 5: Open a Bank or PSP Account in an EEA country offering cross-border services in Estonia, or a provider with a branch in Estonia, after company transfer
Step 6: Register Share Capital - €100,000 for exchange activity, €250,000 for wallet activity
Step 7: Establish an Office in Tallinn
Step 8: Hire a Local Director
